This appears very unlikely because travel is such a service-intensive field. Even travel agents who were supposed to be pushed aside by automation are, in fact, still in demand. Some sectors of the industry may have temporary hiring down-cycles but, overall, every study forecasts significant growth in travel jobs over the next few decades.

It''s doing a lot better than the media would lead you to believe. First, the travel industry usually rebounds from economic and political challenges swiftly. Second, while one sector of the business may become weak, another may grow strong. For example, when international travel reduces, domestic travel typically booms. A small ''mom and pop'' travel agency may close down, but a major chain may open up a successful branch just down the street. And wasn''t that plane full the last time you flew?

* Log into your account with your original e-mail address and password.

Applying for a job through Travelyolk is quick and easy
When you have found a job that you wish to apply for, there are two routes you can follow. All users must complete the cover note.
New Users
* Complete new user application box located below the job description
* Click Apply now
* You will receive an email from us confirming your application and telling you how to register giving you access to our CV management systems.
Registered user
Complete application and select which CV you wish to attach (if not default CV) and click the Apply button. If you wish to use a CV not currently stored within Travelyolk, click on Browse, enter a title and click Apply now.

How do I store and manage multiple CVs on Travelyolk?

It is straightforward to upload your CV via our website.
* Sign On to our website.
* Click on ''Upload your CV''.
* Enter a new title (e.g. second CV, management CV, technical CV)
* Click on the Browse Button
* In the pop-up window, locate your CV within your own System folders (e.g. C:my Documentsmy_cv.doc)
* Single left click the document
* Select Open
* The path to your CV will be in the oblong box next to the Browse button when the pop-up window closes.
* To add a new CV, click browse button again.
